The Little Might

They would have you believe you’re not enough,

That stature can dictate all that you are,

The path you follow is certainly rough,

Despite the obstacles you’ve come quite far.

Though meager in size, your soul is stout,

You have shown your grit and won’t be denied,

There’s no need to stand tall, when you stand out,

The odds presented, you’ve always defied.

What’s the true measure of any person?

Can it be embodied purely by size?

Look always to the wars and battles won,

In the spirit and mind is where it lies

May all who see you recognize your fight

As they quake before you–THE LITTLE MIGHT.
